TESTIMONIES:

The following testimony was emailed to Living Water Healing Center on the evening of April 12, 2010 by a young woman named Debora.

I first came to the healing center in April 2009. I was 43 years old, and was out on disability from work due to chronic migraines. I started to get migraines in the Fall of 2008, but in February 2009 I got one that did not go away.

Other than elevated cholesterol & triglycerides, and a few pounds overweight, I was a fairly healthy person, and wasn’t experiencing any personal problems when the migraines hit. My primary care doctor referred me to a neurologist for treatment. The neurologist prescribed a daily medication for migraine prevention. This drug has had a lot of success with others, but not with me. It made my hands and feet numb, gave me insomnia and prevented me from eating. I was so weak and sick with pain that I stayed on that drug for over a month; blindly following doctor’s orders and not comprehending that I was getting worse, not better. Finally my neurologist told me to wean off the medication and try a week without any drugs. Because I had become so physically weak, he “prescribed” that I walk outside for a half hour each day to gain my strength back.

It was on my daily walks that I discovered the Healing Center. I hadn’t been down Livingston Street in years. I noticed that it was a healing center. Finally, I saw the crosses on the windows and realized it was a Christian healing ministry. I remembered the website address and checked it when I got home. I read all the testimonies online, and it brought tears to my eyes.

I called and spoke with Reverend Millie. Reverend Millie explained that their outreach helped people with various illnesses or issues to receive healing from Jesus and the Word of God. She invited me to attend the Monday night workshops and by doing so, influenced all areas of my life.

Reverend Millie often compares healing to cooking food in a microwave. We expect a quick result, but upon closer examination, it isn’t what we expected.

God has a plan for the best way each of us will receive our healing. We need to learn about healing by reading and hearing the Word of God. We need to study and understand exactly what Jesus accomplished for Mankind with his life, suffering, death and resurrection. That is why we need places like Living Water Healing Center to expose us to and preach to us the healing from the Bible. We need time to understand the healing we receive and why it is available to us. Healing is not microwaveable!

Early on in my attendance, Reverend Millie laid hands on me. My entire body was warm as the Holy Spirit flowed from her body to mine. I now believe I first needed to learn more about Jesus’ healing and I needed to be 100% confident about it, before I could be fully healed and not microwaved!

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” Romans 5:5

Part 2 Testimony on Leah Grace.

Dear Rev. Millie and Tito,

Hi. Just sharing a testimony with you. Leah's MRI came back clear!
Just remember Leah's tumor was one that was very aggressive, not responding to several types of chemo or alternative medicine, was considered inoperable due to her age, and this tumor if removed surgically generally speaking has a high risk of re-occurrence, especially in the young.

This tumor was a God thing, not a doctor thing and we finally after fighting with different treatments for a year got our answer to prayers for healing and two wonderful surgeons were able to do the unthinkable (even they couldn't believe how easy the 10 hour surgery went, their words.) They did a great job on surgically reconstructing her jaw and saving her face and tongue! Many, many things could have gone wrong BUT Leah was saved from each and every one of them.

So this surgery was an answer to prayers, it of course wasn't in the way one would want it to go-easy and pain free. It has sort of been two years of torture but by grace we walked through it, taking one day at a time. Truly trying to "Walk by faith, not by sight".

So, Leah's MRI last Monday was the first since her surgery on March 2, 2009. Can't believe almost a year has past. So her scan was clear of anything resembling a tumor and we just got her chest port a cath removed this morning. She has come full circle now being that she was first diagnosed on president's day in 2008, then her MRI was the same exact day this year!
Two years of pain and growing in the Lord. We are certainly hoping and believing God for her continued healing with future clear scans.

Thank you for your prayers and healing's, words of encouragement and prophesying that she will be ok, go through a lot but be ok. Psalm 118:17 "I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done."  I held onto those words everyday these past two years. She sure has been through a lot and we believe, now healed!

Sincerely,
Christine and Al Samo and Family

Linda from Brooklyn is a young woman in her late forties who has suffered from depression since early childhood. But it was never detected until late in life. Because of her depression over the years, she began to put on weight where she is now obese, which we know causes all types of health issues: heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. We also know food comforts. Some people look to substance abuse using alcohol, drugs etc. to heal their pain, others use food.

Let me give you a little history about Linda. At an early age she got married. She became not only a wife, but also a mother and caregiver to her husband. He never told her that he was a diabetic with Type 2 Diabetes. Ten years later in her marriage, she had a child, Willie. At the age of two, his father passed on due to his medical health. Now Linda goes into a deeper depression. Alone, raising a child as a single parent and not doing well financially, she had to start all over again. Today she is a physical therapist and her son is a teenager. But she still struggles with her weight. For the last two years, she’s been advised by her physician to have laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery due to her multiple health issues because of her weight. She now has been diagnosed with high blood pressure, sleep apnea, asthma, diabetes, etc.

This is where Living Water Ministries comes in to help. “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses…” Hebrews 4:15 (NIV). Linda reached out to us for two years from Brooklyn. Having fear, low self-esteem, and no confidence, we were able to build her confidence and encourage her to go ahead with the surgery because it is a matter of life and death. She is to trust the Lord and most of all do it for herself and her son. She has her whole family standing by her, praying for her, encouraging her, uplifting her. Working around her fear for two years, she was able to build up the courage to go ahead with the surgery this month. When they can’t come to The Healing Center for medical reasons, The Healing Center goes to them.

This is just one testimony. But there are several in our web-site that can attest to how The Healing Center has touched their lives, changed their lives and helped them face whatever they are going through. We are able to bring healing and salvation to each individual. To God Be The Glory!

Christine is a young wife and mother with two children. When her 19 month old daughter, Leah Grace, was diagnosed with cancer she responded as any mother or parent would . "I feel like someone hit me over the head with a shovel, drained emotionally and physically - maybe from all the crying."

Christine, Leah Grace and her family (including aunts, uncle and grandparents) came to the Miracle Service at the Healing Center on Saturday morning, February 23, 2008 seeking hope and healing.

In an email sent to the Healing Center that afternoon Christine wrote: "Thank you for your prayers for healing today for my daughter, myself and family. Your facility was the first place that came to mind when I felt so hopeless and depressed about Leah's situation. I felt like 'I need to do more for her.' I just never knew how to be a good Christian, never read from the bible or knew how to understand what I was reading or realized that it would help. I will really try to devote some time. I just need a push in the right direction to really know I am doing it right. What can I do at home for myself and for Leah? Is there a passage or two I should read on a daily basis? I have always been grateful to HIM for His word and healing but I feel that it is just not enough. I feel I should do more, speak more, read more, sing more!!! I want to stay in this new positive, renewed attitude and peacefulness that I walked away with today. Any guidance from you will be appreciated and helpful, until next time..." Love and thanks, Christine S.

Christine and her husband have been faithfully coming to the Miracle Services every Saturday morning. On this second visit to the Healing Center, Rev. Millie Colon was able to share with them a vision that was given to her several months prior. The vision was of a little girl coming to her for healing. The little girl had blonde hair, not burnette, blonde. Little Leah Grace has blonde hair.

Psalm 118:17 "I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.

I would like to congratulate Reverend Millie and Tito on their grand opening of their new and expanded location of Living Water Healing Center.

Ralphie was introduced to Reverend Millie and Tito through our cousin Lori. Ralphie started attending The Healing Center weekly and after a few weeks I started joining him. It was always a very comforting and spiritual experience. Everyone we met at The Healing Center was so kind and positive. It was always very uplifting and we looked forward to attending and trusting in God.

Ralphie went on two weekend retreats with Reverend Tito and other brothers from the ministry. He came home both times so full of hope and faith and was so happy for the wonderful experience he had.

As Ralphie’s cancer progressed, he was unable to attend The Healing Center but he kept in touch through emails and phone calls and still Reverend Millie and Tito helped him keep the faith and they never gave up encouraging Ralphie to pray and worship God. Even after his surgery, they came to visit Ralphie at the hospital and prayed with him for healing and believing in God, and I know that it helped him immensely.

Ralphie wouldn’t give up and many sleepless nights, he would pray for the strength to fight. I know that the prayers and support from his family and friends helped him through his battle with cancer.

Ralphie was a wonderful Dad, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He brightened everyone’s lives that he touched. He enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends. He was a generous, kind and loving person and whoever knew him even for a short time was blessed by his spirit. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and was there for anyone in need.

I’m sure he is smiling down on us today and is so honored and proud that this building is being dedicated to him. I know Ralphie would want others battling mental or physical illness to know there is hope in Jesus Christ and a hope to be healed, a hope to not battle alone and a hope for spiritual healing as well. Ralphie often ministered to others about his hope in Christ, he read scriptures daily and knew that it wasn’t his ability to battle cancer alone, but the strength he drew from the Holy Spirit that sustained him everyday, spiritually, physically, and mentally. He would want others to have that hope that he had, and to someday receive the prize that Ralphie is enjoying right now…the prize he was rewarded with, for keeping his faith..the gift of eternal life with Christ. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

Ralphie is finally at peace. He is no longer suffering. He fought a long fight and won. He is home with God.

We Love You Ralphie. We will meet again.

Thank you,

Cathy Zulferino

Maritza is a 34 year old married woman with a 3 year old son. She lives in Brooklyn. She was diagnosed 6 years ago with AML leukemia. Recently, she has encountered a 3 rd relapse and was in need of a bone marrow transplant. Maritza and her family reached out to The Healing Center for help in her time of need. We did a blood drive in March looking for a donor for the bone marrow transplant. Praise Be to God, they found three.Maritza went into the hospital on June 6 th to receive extended chemotherapy and radiation treatment in preparation for the transplant that took place on Friday, July 13 th.

A friend brought Martiza and her husband to The Healing Center on March 5, 2007 and at our 14 th Conference & Breakfast that was held on Saturday, April 28, 2007, Maritza gave the following testimony:

“When I was re-diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months ago, I was feeling so depressed. I know the Lord for many years and I knew that He had seen me through but I was going through a very difficult time in my life. I was brought to the Healing Center by a girlfriend who knew them very well. When I went there, I felt very ministered to and the Lord imparted a lot to me.

A couple of days later, I received a Thinking of You letter. I was so excited. I felt like a child. I ran to my husband when he got home from work to tell him and show him the card.

I thank God for you. It is people like you who encourage us. People truly do love the people of God. It is one thing to talk about the love of God, it is another thing to show it and I have really been shown the love of God through this ministry. And I thank God for them.

Ralph is a young man from Brooklyn who has been attending our workshop “Anger Stress Management”. He heard about The Healing Center on WLIB 1190AM and at our 14 th Conference & Breakfast that was held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Saturday, April 28, 2007, Ralph gave his testimony.

God is really good! I attended a workshop at The Healing Center and it changed my life. Just one workshop and I’ve been going ever since. Since I attended that workshop at the The Healing Center, life was always good, but when you go to the workshops and leave, life is better. They call it The Healing Center for a reason. I know that the work that Rev. Colon is doing there is awesome. It is awesome! I’m better because of it. When I go inside of that workshop and when I leave that workshop at the end of the night, a little piece of me that shouldn’t have been in me was left behind. I praise God for that. Thank God, and Rev. Millie and Tito Colon for The Healing Center.

Santasha is a young woman who comes to The Healing Center from Long Island. Santasha has been dealing with depression since her late teens and all of her adult life. Her depression is genetic. Last year she was put on medications. She heard about The Healing Center on Star 99.1FM.

This is Santasha’s Testimony:

I started coming to The Healing Center in late October 2006. Since attending the Monday night workshop (Will Medicine Stop the Pain?) I have seen drastic changes in my depression. Shortly after starting to attend the workshops I was able to stop taking the anti-depressant medications. I have a new outlook on life, and hope for the future without medications. I am grateful to know that I do not have to live life on a pill.

I am glad to know that the Healing Center is there, they are always so loving, open and friendly and I am not judged when I go there. I thank God every day for their constant prayers, encouragement and all of the many tools that Rev. Millie and Tito Colon and the staff have given me in abundance in the time that I have shared with them.
